Our History

Miracle Ministries was started in February of 1997 by Bishop Dr. John B. Durrah. He went to Angeles City, Philippines and established Miracle Ministries in a small guard shack. This ministry started with four in attendance in an extremely small area in which to worship, but just look at where God has taken it in 11 years! Glory be to God alone! Brother Durrah is not shy to share the struggles he experienced in the start of this ministry.

He says "If at any time my faith has had to work, it was in those days." He was a stranger in a country he did not know, away from his family and friends, the statement "God is the only one you can depend on" became a reality in his life. The operation of this ministry was, and still is by faith. God is always faithful to those who are willing to sacrifice for His kingdom. We have many churches and individuals sponsoring this ministry, and we could not do it without them. Our sponsors are the unseen workers in the ministry of God, it could not be done without you!
